Alvin ISD Education Foundation Innovative Teaching Grant

An Innovative Teaching Grant funds creative projects that go beyond typical classroom teaching to make learning more exciting and effective for students. We are looking for fresh ideas that inspire students and transform how they learn, while still meeting district goals and educational standards.

WHO CAN APPLY: TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, LIBRARIANS, SPECIALISTS, INSTRUCTIONAL COACHES

Strong applications will:
-Have a lasting impact – Projects that can continue benefiting students for years, not just one semester
-Reach many students – Ideas that affect the greatest number of learners possible
-Include durable materials – Equipment, tools, or resources that won’t be used up quickly (rather than supplies that get consumed)

Items not eligible for consideration: furniture, teacher travel, catering, gift cards, one year software subscriptions, books/classroom materials not approved by IT or Curriculum Director of AISD. All forms of AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be rejected.
Applications with missing or incomplete/improperly filled attachments will be rejected.

GRANT APPLICATION OPENS ON OCTOBER 31, 2025 and CLOSES ON JANUARY 15, 2026.

If grant is awarded, Alvin ISD Education Foundation requires the following compliance:
