Elora Laird Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in remembrance of Elora Laird, a 2012 Manvel High School graduate who was a talented artist and inspiring young lady who left our world far too soon. All she wanted to do was create. This scholarship will help an aspiring AISD Creative by helping them with funds towards supplies or tuition. This scholarship is open to any AISD Senior who would like to pursue a creative career or take Fine Arts (Music, visual arts, theater, writing or dance) courses in addition to their major area of study. A love of creativity is a must. Applicants must have a recommendation from a current teacher, and a short essay about their love and experiences within their creative area. REQUIRED – Visual arts students must upload five images of their artwork. Performance art students must provide a link to a performance video. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
